Third-Party Billing: Yes! We can direct bill to many health insurance companies. New ICBC claims are being accepted for physiotherapy and chiropractic treatment. New WorkSafeBC claims are being accepted for physiotherapy treatment only. We do not offer ICBC or WorkSafeBC for massage therapy.

We do require 24 hours notice to cancel or change appointments. If less than the require time is provided a fee will be charged. We do understand unforeseen circumstances do arise, which will be taken into consideration. If you are needing to cancel outside our office hours, please email our office.

Tanya Bos BSc.PT, MCPA, FCAMT
Tanya began her physiotherapy career at the University of British Columbia in the Rehabilitation Sciences Department. She graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. She has been serving patients in the Fraser Valley at private practice clinics for the past 24+ years.
She has pursued additional education in the physiotherapy profession. She successfully completed all course levels in the Canadian Division of Orthopaedics to receive both the Intermediate & Advanced Diplomas in Manual Therapy. She has also completed courses in Functional Dry Needling to receive certification in practicing IMS.
Tanya is experienced in treating individuals of all ages with a variety of orthopaedic injuries & conditions. She has provided physiotherapy services to several athletic events & groups including BC Summer Games, running group clinics & races, UFV Athletics, CBC basketball teams, middle/highschool sports teams & girls’ basketball programs.
As an avid runner & skier, Tanya understands the ambition to stay healthy & active. She is committed to helping her patients recover from injury, regain function, maintain fitness, return to sport & prevent further injury. She is the mother to 4 amazing children who are also very active and involved in a range of sports. Consequently, she has provided physiotherapy services to several young athletes & sports teams. She has a strong interest in supporting female athletes throughout their lifespan to attain optimal health & performance.
Outside of the clinic, she’s busy with her family and cheering on her kids’ in their sports adventures. She can be found running the trails with Bella (our therapy dog) & skiing the mountains with family & friends.

Keaton Boughen MSc.PT, BHK, AN-IMS/Dry Needling
Keaton graduated from McMaster University with a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy. He was born and raised in Abbotsford and completed his Bachelor of Human Kinetics at Trinity Western University.
He utilizes a client-centered and holistic approach to care, that emphasizes open communication and collaborative goal setting to ensure each person receives care that best suits their needs. His treatment style incorporates a blend of hands-on manual therapy techniques, dry needling, therapeutic exercises and education. He strives to equip and empower people with the knowledge and confidence they need to take control of their health.
Growing up Keaton was heavily involved in competitive sports, including volleyball, baseball and soccer. He spent two years volunteering as a student athletic therapist with the Trinity Western University Women’s Varsity soccer team. His engagement in sports, fascination of the human body, and desire to assist people in achieving their health goals led him to become a physiotherapist. Keaton has developed a passion for orthopaedics and has experience treating clients of all ages with various musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, as well as providing post-operative rehab. Joanna Bravo RMT
Joanna Bravo has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 1987. She graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy’s 3000 hour program in Vancouver, BC. Before embarking on a career in massage, Joanna practised Dental Hygiene both in the private and public health sectors. This experience afforded her the ability to pursue further training in TMJ work.
Joanna employs a wide array of techniques with particular emphasis in Bowen, Craniosacral and Visceral Therapies, Concussion Treatments, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, and Palliative Care. Her treatments involve a balance between luxurious relaxation massages and therapeutic rehab techniques.
Joanna is passionate in educating her clients to be active participants in their own healing process and working together with a community of health care professionals. Her motto is “Getting Better Quickly.”

Raquel Foth Msc.PT, MCPA, BSc.Kin, IMS/FDN
Raquel graduated from the Masters of Physical Therapy program at University of Alberta in 2012. At U of A she was a student rep of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association while she attended the program. She also graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley with a degree in Kinesiology and worked with the UFV Men’s basketball team as a student athletic trainer for 3 years. Her previous clinical experience and continuing education has provided her with great orthopaedic and musculoskeletal injury management skills for a wide range of injuries and conditions. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages that need help getting back to their previous levels of participation and activity. Raquel also has experience working in the hospital setting in multiple capacities and a wide range of ages.
Since completing her Masters, Raquel has actively pursued further education to increase her skill set and add new treatment and assessment techniques. She believes that one-on-one treatment, the integration of manual therapy skills, exercise/stretching, education, and therapeutic modalities, as appropriate, are key for optimal recovery. This most importantly involves client participation.
She has completed her Level 2 orthopedic manual therapy certification and she has taken courses in muscle mobilization techniques. Raquel is also fully certified in Intramuscular stimulation (IMS), also called Functional dry needling (FDN) and has taken the Upledger Cranialsacral 1 course. In the future, Raquel plans to continue to pursue advanced education in manual therapy and advanced cranialsacral therapy techniques.
Raquel loves sports and currently plays on a Div 1 coed soccer team and in the summer can be seen running, cycling, or behind a boat wakeboarding or water skiing. Raquel also has taught fitness classes at a local gym and enjoys staying active and helping motivate people to get active and reach their physical rehab and fitness goals.

Tyler Hebert

B. Kin
Tyler graduated from UFV with a Bachelors of Kinesiology in 2021, with a specialty in exercise sciences. During his program he worked for years as a personal trainer and as a student athletic therapist with the university.
He joined Abbotsford Sports and Orthopaedic Physiotherapy in 2021 as a Kinesiologist. He has special interests in exercise therapy for rehabilitation and disease management, as well as for injury prevention, ergonomics, and aging well. He takes a full system analytical approach in developing exercise programs tailored to his client’s goals.
To continue developing his toolkit, he has also taken courses in soft tissue release therapy, DNS, and neurokinetic therapy training.
He loves to learn and share knowledge about anatomy, physiology, the human body, exercise training, and how we interact with our world through our senses.

Ryan Hik MPT, BSc.Kin
Ryan Graduated from UBC with a masters degree of physiotherapy in 2011 and has worked at Abbotsford Sports and Orthopaedic Physiotherapy ever since. He has completed Orthopaedic Manual therapy level 3 as well as level 2 dry needling (through Acupuncture Canada). Jeff Huynh RMT, B. Kin, CSCS
Jeff graduated from the RMT program from The West Coast College of Massage Therapy in April 2018. He also holds a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Fraser Valley. Jeff aims to incorporate the therapeutic effects of massage therapy along with exercise and active rehabilitation to ensure long-lasting results in his patients. His patient-centred care approach ensures patients will receive quality treatment for optimal health improvements.

Julia graduated from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2022. Julia developed a passion for injury rehabilitation early on in life and tailored her post-secondary education to orthopaedic injuries and recovery. She obtained a Sport Science Diploma in 2012 from Douglas College and graduated in 2014 from the University of the Fraser Valley with a Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology. Todd McGladdery MSc. PT, FCAMPT
Todd McGladdery joined Abbotsford Physiotherapy in June 2020. He graduated from the University of Alberta with a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy in 2007, since then he has worked as a private practice physiotherapist in the Fraser Valley.
Todd has done additional training in manual therapy (Diploma in Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy), dry needling (Gunn IMS), and vestibular and concussion rehabilitation.
Over the past 10 years he has worked in the community with the Abbotsford Soccer Association, BC Summer Games, University of the Fraser Valley Athletics, and the Fraser Valley Bandits.
Todd enjoys working with clients of all ages to help them get to the root of their movement problems and find a solution using a combination of education, exercise, manual therapy, and dry needling.

Olamide graduated from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 2006. He worked at the hospital and also did home visits for 6 years before relocating to Canada in 2012. Alysha Sieben Msc.PT, BSc.Kin
Alysha earned her Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University in 2016. She began her studies at the University of the Fraser Valley where she graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology in 2014.
Since obtaining her physiotherapy degree, Alysha has pursued additional courses and certifications to enhance her knowledge and better assist her clients. She has a particular interest in pediatrics and women’s health. She is driven by her passion for supporting women of all ages, especially during pregnancy and postpartum. To provide comprehensive care, she has completed specialized pelvic health on pregnancy, postpartum recovery, post-cesarean section care, running, breast cancer recovery, lymphedema treatment, diastasis rectus abdominis, pelvic girdle pain, incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse. Additionally, she enjoys working with children and their families, assisting them in areas such as torticollis (tight neck muscles in infants), achieving motor milestones, recovering from injuries, or training for sports.
Alysha has also expanded her expertise through further education in manual therapy, concussion management, soft tissue release, dry needling, K-taping, and neurokinetic training (NKT).
